Editorial Standards

Last updated: 13 October 2026

AuTechWire’s credibility is its most valuable asset. These standards bind everything we publish.

Accuracy

We verify facts before publication, prefer primary sources (official statements, filings, data, direct observation), and clearly label analysis, opinion, and reported fact as distinct things. When we are uncertain, we say so rather than filling the gap.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it fast and transparently. Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are fixed silently. Material corrections to facts are noted at the foot of the article with the date of the change. We never silently rewrite a story’s substance.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the editor alone. Advertisers, sponsors, and commercial partners do not review, approve, or influence stories. Paid content, where it ever appears, will be clearly labelled as such.

Sourcing

We name our sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is newsworthy, cannot be obtained on the record, and the source’s identity is known to the editor. We protect confidential sources.

Images and media

We use original graphics and licensed images. We never present illustrations as photographs of real events.
